Pricing

Published, per site, and with no premium for evening or weekend work — because evenings are when we do it.

How support actually works

Most IT companies sell you a help desk and charge per person. We do something different, and it is worth being plain about it before you look at prices.

Support is included

You email or call. You reach the person who designed your network, not a queue. Every plan below includes real support hours — you are not buying a monitoring service and then paying somebody else to fix things.

Evenings and weekends are when we are fastest

That is when this work gets done, and it is why there is no out-of-hours premium. Urgent problems during the day get a real response — what we will not do is promise a five-minute daytime guarantee we would have to break to keep.

The goal is fewer problems, not more tickets

Most small-business IT tickets come from infrastructure nobody maintains. Patch it properly, monitor it, verify the backups actually restore, and the volume drops. You should need us less over time.

Plans

Priced per site, per month — not per user. Our work scales with your network, not your headcount, so a growing team does not grow your bill.

Included hours are pooled across the month and do not carry over. Beyond them, work is billed at the standard rate below — there is no separate emergency or out-of-hours rate.

Project work

Network builds, migrations, firewall and switch replacements, security audits and cutovers are quoted per project, or billed at $150 per hour.

  • No after-hours premium. A Saturday-night core switch replacement costs the same as a Tuesday morning one.
  • Cutovers are scheduled when your business is closed, so nobody loses a working day to them.
  • Fixed-price quotes for defined work — you see the number before we start.

Is this right for you?

A good fit

  • 5 to 30 people, one or two sites
  • No internal IT, or one person doing it alongside another job
  • You have an IT provider but nobody checks their work
  • Your network matters more than your laptops do

Probably not a fit

  • You need someone physically on site during business hours daily
  • You want a contractual five-minute daytime response guarantee
  • You are mainly looking for desktop and printer support
  • Over 50 staff across several sites — you likely need a full team

If the right-hand column describes you, say so and we will tell you honestly — and point you somewhere better if we can.

Questions people actually ask

Why per site and not per user?

Because the work is in your network, not your staff list. One firewall is one firewall whether ten or twenty-five people sit behind it. Pricing per user would mean charging you more for hiring.

What if something breaks at 10am?

Call. You will get a person and a real answer, and most things are fixable remotely. What we will not do is sell you a guaranteed daytime response time that we would then have to break.

Are you actually local?

Yes — based in Strathmore, working across Chestermere, Okotoks, Airdrie and the Calgary region. Several firms that advertise "Strathmore IT" are head-officed in other provinces. Ask any of us where we are.

Is there a contract?

Month to month. If the work is good you will stay; a contract that traps you is a sign somebody expects you would otherwise leave.

What happens to our documentation?

It is yours. Network diagrams, credentials and runbooks stay with your business whether or not you stay with us. Holding a client's documentation hostage is common and indefensible.

Can we start smaller?

Yes. Most people begin with a one-off assessment or a project, and move to a plan once they can see what it found.

Not sure which one?

Check your own domain first — it takes thirty seconds, needs no signup, and tells you something useful whether or not you ever talk to us.
